This quiz can be used as a comprehension exercise where children watch the film “The Pirates! Band of Misfits” and then answer as many questions correctly as they can. The adjusted / differentiated activity can be that the film is watched in two halves (or smaller chunks) to give children less to remember all at once and more of a chance to get all 18 questions correct! This activity can also be an opportunity to practice spellings, learn something new (what exactly is a barnacle?) and most importantly, have fun!
